Let’s talk hiking!
Living in Austin, I can tell you Texas has its perks. There are so many refreshing trails along the famous LadyBird Lake.
One of them is the amazing trail systems we have. Picture this: beautiful trails meandering alongside the rivers and creeks that wind through the city. It is truly a hiker’s paradise!
When I hit the trails, I’m armed with my camera, furry companions, and trusty water-pack. There’s something magical about being surrounded by the flowing creeks with the sky peeking through the neon green and yellow leaves and fluffy clouds reflecting like white blooms on the water’s surface.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my love for water and the mesmerizing reflections it creates. That’s why I’m thrilled to introduce you to my Abstract Nature collection. Sometimes I paint a painting and I fall in love so deeply I end up keeping it for an extended time. Not sure about forever but it’s as if I need to be with art, love it and appreciate it. Sometimes I wonder how I did it. It’s strange but when I’m in the creating zone, I’m in a certain brain space. I’m surprised myself at times when my session is over at what I created. I want to be with the piece and see it throughout the day. A relationship with joy. I contemplate back and forth between keeping or selling to a collector. It seems my personal collection is definitely growing.
So far, there is a point in time where I am ready to let go and share the love with another.
