Did you hear my life changed over night.
Did my life change overnight? Yes – and yet, if I tried to call these changes strange, I’d be lying to myself. Nothing seems strange anymore after these past 5 years.
Perhaps we’re living in some sort of simulated reality. At this point, living on Star Trek’s holodeck makes more sense than any other explanation for this wild journey we call life.

Well the big change is…
I always thought I’d eventually figure out my true calling . Turns out in my recent therapy, a liberating truth was revealed to me. I’ll keep evolving indefinitely, moving from one creative endeavor to another – inventing, creating, changing. there’s no magical finish line where I can declare “This is who I am now, forever.” It’s my innate nature to keep experimenting and trying different ways to design and express the world around me.
It’s as if I”ve been I’ve been waiting to become my “final form” so I could present that polished version to you. With this new understanding of myself, feeling completely undone and unready, will most likely always be my feelings. So this is me. I have to show up in all my glory, with all my beautiful messes, my yet-to-be-fulfilled hopes and dreams, and yes, even this persistent feeling of being undone and unready for life, is just how I am. There’s no waiting to live because life is already being lived.
So yes I did make it to Colorado to retreat to my happy camp for a few months. I was immersed in the forest silence and napped on beds of pine needles awakening to the neon yellow aspen leaves dancing and shimmering in the breeze…
And there, among the whispering woods, I found my latest inspiration – Christmas trees!
I thoughts I’d have an entire Christmas tree farm…but I ended up with maybe 7 designs.
